the katydid
i think the katydid is one of the coolest bugs. one time i found one on the ground in my front yard, but only because i accidentally hit it out of a tree (i bet you can guess what i named it too). it looked exactly like a leaf. they are real good at blending in. i wish i was like that, genetically designed to be good at blending in or fitting in. this may possibly be the only bug i appreciate besides butterflies.

i named this creature. only it is spelled katidid.
but i put a y in there to hide my identity.
there you have it. darkest secret of my life. i love these creatures also. except for when they fly and poop on you. that kinda creeps me out.
