so now that that's over..

I'm going to start listening to Christmas music now that halloween is over. Every one always says"it's only okay to start listening to Christmas music.."
"...After Thanksgiving"
"...On December 1st"
"...Once it starts snowing"
Blah blah blah. I LOVE the holiday's. And of course they're not complete without some Christmas tunes. Well I think the holiday's include all of November and December. So bring on the Christmas songs.

P.S. I got a B+ as my final grade in calculus. I'm pretty pleased I guess, I was expecting a B.

P.P.S. Whenever I see a Harry Potter trailer on T.V. I get all nervous and excited and giddy inside and I sometimes even scream outloud.

let me share my obsession with you

I'd really want a full library with the ladder that looks something like this:

But any of these neat one's would do too.

My husband better like to read, cause I've already started my collection of books that will be displayed proudly in our home. I think bookshelves are the coolest things EVER.

this makes my heart flutter

those old songs that never get old

Robyn had this song on her ipod that I was obsessed with in my early pre-teen years and it brought back so many memories. It was one of those songs that you could go 4 years without listening to, and whip out the lyrics as if no time had passed at all. The song? Goodbye Earl by the Dixie Chicks. Classic. Here are some other songs that I believe to never get old:

Break Away- Kelly Clarkson
Bye Bye Bye- N Sync
Me and My Gang- Rascal Flatts
Sexy Back- Justin Timberlake
I want it that way- Backstreet Boys
Dancing Queen- A Teens
Sugar Rush- Dream Street

What's on your "never get's old'' playlist?

lessons learned from today

When in doubt, wear huge fuzzy boots to freezing football games.
I am not an artist. Never will be. Even though my fortune from the cookie read "You are an artist in every aspect".. or something like that. Yeah. Right.
I do not like it when girls make you feel like you're to cool to talk to them. Or they are too cool to listen to you.
Mandi Call officially is the coolest. Her coat, boots, and gloves are just a sample. She has a real neat style, that girl.
Those things you blow up then smack together to make noise go from awesome.. to annoying real fast.
We now know what an athletic cup is.. hehe.
Cheese balls are addicting, you know, those things that are 90% air, 8% artificial cheese flavoring, and 100% deliciousness.
Hi I am a student from Brighton high school, and we just got crushed by the Vikings.
I miss Miss Smithson (see what I did there?)
Someone should probably diagnose me with something really contagious, so I do not have to go to prision, er, school tomorrow.
Well I'm off to bed. Why yes, it is 8:30.

weird how things like this work out

Today's Seminary lesson really struck a chord with me. It was about Christ and how he suffered so that we don't need to. It was one of those lesson's that make you think, and that stay with you for a while. So I was just thinking about it right before I read This, and it gave me chills. She's a lovely one.

send a smile my way

Rain, record player, curling up with my snuggie and a good book, good hair days, sweaters from savers, my gratitude journal, long johns, getting my hair brushed, my seminary class (with all it's awkwardness), sleeping in, boys that open doors for you, Hitch, the holidays, 95 on my calculus test, homecoming, Edward Sharp, waterfalls, Glee, Ammon's music taste, fall colors, spanish accents, taking the ACT in Miss Smithsons room, dried roses, lotion potion, almost being able to wear my pea coat, swamp monster cupcakes, not being the only one terrified during a scary movie, having a clean room, Newman, realizing there's only 7 months left of high school, seeing Nate's face in the center of Palmer's wall, Van Der Beet the tabby kitten, & lavender scented sheets.

2 years too early

Today in my art class, I'm sitting there wishing this one boy, we'll call him pete, was 2 years older. He's a cutie, super funny, and smells nice. But unfortunately he is one of the youngin's. He has a brother who's a senior, but isn't nearly as charming (or attractive). I don't think being a cougar woman in high school really suits me, otherwise I would definitely date pete.

I found this cool awesome room that makes me feel super happy.
Dream bedroom right thurr.

It's her birthday today.
We celebrated at Macaroni Grill.
And it was gooood.

She turned 19.
Which means she's been an adult for a year now.
She has her own office, like an adult. Weird huh?

She's: Cool, funny, charismatic, smart, skilled, friendly, kind, and bubbly.
Not to mention hawt.

See?
It's genetic.

Happy Birthday Aim!!

D.A.N.C.E.

sorry 'bout picture #1. my computer is not cooperating

Homecoming was sawwweeeeet! There were some downsides, like almost getting hypothermia after going down the giant slip n' slide 5 times then playing ultimate croquet in our wet clothes.

BUT

Everything besides that was stellar. Me and Ruger dominated at ultimate croquet. We even beat Hayden Anderson. That in itself is a feat. And the slip n' slide really was fun, it was just the freezing-my-tush-off-afterwards part that really got to me. For dinner we went to texas roadhouse. I got the chicken critters. Yes, I'm aware that I eat like a 5 year old. I was so stuffed, I swear my dress was going to explode of my body. The dance was INSANE. If you have never seen Ruger Memmot doing his thing out on the dance floor, you have yet to see awesome. We even got the whole huge step, twirl 5 times, then dip in there on the slow dances. It was legit. 500 days of summer after. Can you even ask for a better finish?
One word to sum up this dance:
superb.

purring is the cure.

It's probably weird, but i find it 10 times easier to fall asleep when my kitty raja is curled up on my bed making his soothing purring noises. I dare you to listen to some August Rush instrumental softly at night and not fall asleep. Speaking of sleep, i've zonked out in so many different houses lately. It's kinda a new hobby.

I need to find my caaaat.

admirable

Yesterday, I didn't really have a reason to be super happy. I got a 3 out of 10 on my calculus quiz, woke up way late, went to bed way late, had more embarrassing moments than necessary, and failed an attempt at shoe shopping. Even though a whole lot of crummy things happened, I was extremely happy. I'm pretty sure it's cause fall is in the air. Finally.
The homecoming pageant is a time sucker. I don't really care anymore about representing the softball team well. I just want this to be over. Sorry team.
On a positive note, I bought my homecoming shoes today! A little late, I'm aware.
Black, cream, teal.
Those are my colors. I hope all goes well, and I'll finally get to see ruger's sick dance moves at full blast.

say what?

AGGIE.
In a year, you can call me that. I'm so stoked. Here's why:
-basketball games
-aggie ice cream
-rooming with wob
-friends coming along
-free t-shirt
-perfect distance away
-beautiful campus
-true aggie (hehe)
-navy blue
-elementary school on campus.
Can't wait.
*also can't wait for homecoming and the homecoming football game. dope.
