bad at:

blogging consistently, writing research papers, keeping my room nice 'n tidy, waking up on time, managing my time (hence the picture, i sit on my room at least 7 hours a week), actually smiling cute in pictures, drawing animals, and containing my gagging urges in EMS class, swimming.

good at:

crafts (when i want to), being happy, math, coloring, softball, making up lyrics to well-known tunes, getting some blanket, rec basketball, entertaining little one's, going to bed on time, keeping friends and sometimes even making them, procrastinating, tracting, being kind, shopping for earrings, jumping off swings, spraining my ankles, chugging contests.

and while we're on the subject of getting to know me, there is probably something else you should know.

today

today was another one of those crafty sunday's. the result: ruffle pillow. my lonely grey reading chair needed a friend. it's thuper duper cute, and easy too. also, there is a picture of my heart wall. it makes getting ready in the mornings a little more durable (and makes for a happier lisa). it's weird how much a slight change in your room decor can change your mood e'ry day. hurray for fabric!

as a senior, most of the time high school is the dumps. but there are those few classes that actually do make learning fun. Mr. Newman? best history teacher ever. take a gander!

in my EMS class one time, we were learning about the grieving process. this one is a funny video too. Kristin Pond, she's a keeper.

thank goodness for teachers who know how NOT to bore you to sleep. 2 more months, I can do this.

2 wheeks.

whoa hey there.
i have an excuse for not blogging, and it's called missionary weeks. and softball. it's been a crazy two weeks and right now i'm exhausted.
but here's a lil' update on my life since the end of February.
-went tracting as a mish. i was called to the Recife (or something), Brazil mission.
-made a colorful rain wall, like katie's.
-sat on my roof for about 2 hours a day and read Enders Game.
-played my first, second, and third softball games. won one. boo.
-won 2nd place in a romance writing contest... PFF. funny thing is, it was made up and written in about 20 minutes. nice eh?
-made some spring pom poms out of tissue paper. first saw it here.
-taught the first lesson to 4 kids under the age of 8. so fun. i can't wait to be a teacher!
-made something similar to a heart garland, kinda.
-gave a talk in zone conference
-made some headbands

as you can tell

mish. weeks made me very crafty. i'll have to put some pictures up sometime, cause i'm super proud of my artiness. it's rare.
